LAUREL AVENTURE NATURE offers you a day of nature at its best. A walking hike wiht a guide, canoe Rabaska, a visit with the sled dogs and a taste of the country!

Upon arriving at this oasis you will be greeted with barks and howls from this beautiful group of sled dogs. While preparing for the departure you will be served with hot tea in the rustique chalet than its a one hour hike in the full natural forest. You will learn from the experienced guide about the wildlife and the vegetation. You will see deer, loons, traces of bear marks on the trees. You will learn about plants used by the Amerindians, our land is filled with natural treasures to observe, touch and taste.

Arriving at the lake a rabaska canoe will be waiting to take you on a guided tour of the life of beavers; you will see beaver dams and learn about their way of life and enjoy much more during this 1 hour tour on the lake.

Then a 45 minutes hike back to the excursion center where you will be able to relax in a rustic cabin and have a taste of some products from the region.

This magnificent day will end with a visit to the kenel as our sled dogs adore to be pet and kissed. You will discover that not only are they beautiful but they are sociable, friendly and they welcome visitors. What a nice way to end a great day!

• Appropriate clothing and footwear is imperative : hiking shoes, pants, sweater and a hat are necessary.
